Just FYI
Sorry for not posting. I hurt my knee recently. Popped it out and then into my socket. I've done it before and ever since then I do it once a year. Unfortunately I'll be unable and it would be unwise for me to walk. My computer with my scans and digital art on it is downstairs so it's in an inaccessible zone of the house. I'll be posting again in the near future. If I can extrapolate how much I improved these last two days I'd say it'll only be a week at most. Maybe only a day or two before I'm heading downstairs. Thanks for understanding.

New Scans And Good News
I just scanned in my last sketchbook. I don't mean the last one I'll ever do, I mean the last one I have previously completed. I spent a lot of that sketchbook practicing figures so not really much to upload from it. I'm happy to say that although I am practicing my figures and faces in my new sketchbook I am also breaking it up with some pretty sketches that I can upload. I also have a quick health update for everyone. I have officially been moved from the post surgery transplant clinic to the medicine transplant clinic. Basically, this means I'm doing much better. They've already removed the picc (peripherally inserted central catheter) line from my arm and talked about reducing my medication. Hopefully soon I'll be returning to normal life and get a job and go back to school. Alright, that's it for the health updates. Here are the sketches. The first is a Magic The Gathering card and the second is from a fantasy and scifi drawing game. Thank you for reading about my brainsplosion.

I'm Alive But My Computer Isn't
I wanted to drop in and say that I'm still around. I feel pretty awesome at this time but something horrible happened! My computer is no more. I'll be setting up this old laptop so I can scan some more art in but my new wacom is kinda useless right now. Digital art is on hold. I'll be back to updating by the end of the week hopefully. Here's a bunch of art to make up for my absence. Actually, it's the rest of what I have uploaded. Enjoy. Thank you for reading about my brainsplosion.

Just FYI
Well readers, I've finally passed the one month mark. The doctors say in two more months I'll be feeling normal. I've started sketching again. Only a handful of sketches in the past week including one charcoal piece I just completed. Unfortunately, my scanner is on another floor and so it's still inaccessible to me. At most it'll take me two months to update with more artwork. Considering I just received a new organ I think that's a pretty fast recovery time. Anyway, I'm feeling miles better and wanted to update you all on my progress.

Just FYI
So today I had my first "clinic" appointment after my transplant. It's really just a follow up appointment. The doctors are pleased with my progress. I'm by far the youngest person there and probably one of the youngest liver recipients in my region. No one outside the hospital staff seems to understand that my liver was diseased since childhood and wasn't the result of drinking. Oh well. Anyway, I'm doing better everyday. I wanna keep you all in the loop and let you know I will return.

I wanna let my readers that are following my recovery know that I'm home from the hospital. I'm healing up nicely although obviously I have quite a ways to go. I still have the staples in but I'll soon have them out. I'm eating normally and the only real problem I have is horrible back pain. It's terrible but it's expected apparently. Anyway, I'll be drawing again soon and I'll finally get to use the new Wacom that's been collecting dust in my room since I got my transplant. In a few weeks time I'll be uploading again.

Just FYI
I've been going through tough times in my recovery. I got most of the tubes out, the last two are a drain in my side and an IV under my clavicle. I was told that for a few days the bathroom would be my biggest hurtle. They were right, I passed that hurtle today and felt terrible straight after. But after a second time I don't feel quite as bad. I'm doing better. Even though this is kinda tough it's well worth it.

I got my transplant! I'm happy but I'm in so much pain. The incision hurts, the tube that goes in my nose an then down to my stomach is irritating, and I am only allowed some ice chips and nothing else for the next few days. I'm just hoping I start to feel better sometime soon.

I got the call and I'm heading in for pre-admission testing. It's still not a guarantee but here's hoping.
Just FYI
I wanted to quickly update everyone this morning on the fact that I just got a call that they have an organ for me. They're doing tests on it and will know more by this evening. Nothing is set in stone but we'll see. I'll keep you all apprised on the situation as it develops.

Just FYI
I just wanted to call everyone's attention to the right-hand side of my blog. Under my "about me" section I've added a list of websites that I follow. While right now it's only a few I'll keep adding more. In each update I'll let you know about the new ones I've added.
Right now I have only 2 sites on the list. The first is a SoundCloud of my good friend Charm Polyp's innovative and entertaining music. Do me a favor and hop over to his site and give a few of his tracks a listen. You might find that you like it. The second is an art blog of an amazing artist known as G.J. that I just found using StumbleUpon. Seriously, I'm envious of him. Give him a look too, especially if you like fantasy or science fiction art.
