I'm a Jedi and here's the words Star Wars

Guess what everyone, I'm a Jedi. Well, I'm not really a Jedi but I have the costume. I got into a program in which each month I get a free costume as long as I review it. Another piece of info you need to know is that my parents have been trying to sell my grandmother's apartment ever since she passed away six months ago. The third piece of info is that I had my real estate license for a few years. So now that you have the facts let me string them together.

Six months ago my parents ignored all the advice I gave them on how to quickly sell my grandmother's apartment. In turn, I made a wager with them. If they didn't sell the apartment in six months they would pay for my trip to comic con. As anyone that has read previous posts is well aware I have been sick for a long time. As a result, I have never been to comic con. Fast forward to a month or two ago. I was making some nerdy comments on facebook and was asked to copy pasta my comments onto a certain company's official sites because my comments are awesome. It was mentioned that I could review costumes. I jumped at the chance because I figured I could get some cool stuff and maybe dress up for comic con.

So I looked over the costume selection and was upset to learn that I couldn't get the Chewbacca costume but Jedis are just as cool. I'm a big fan of the star wars universe, even The Clone Wars tv show so I opted for an Obi-Wan Kenobi costume. Here's a picture of me wearing it.

(Yes, I'm barefoot.)

I know, I know, so fucking sexy. When I saw the costume on the website I assumed it'd be a one piece. I'm happy to report I was wrong. It's a top with pants. Nothing is worse than wearing a costume that's hard to quickly pee in. I guess if the force were with you it wouldn't really matter but I'm no Jedi. The leggings have built in foot coverings which is why it takes more than a cursory glance to tell that I'm barefoot in this picture. I don't know anything about stitching but I will say it seemed sturdy enough and it seems to be made of a fabric that's lightweight and cool. As you can tell from the picture I'm a little chubby. I'm also 5'10". The costume is an extra large and I fit in it comfortably. As compared to other clothing it seems a generous fit as it is stretchable. Overall, good costume. I think next month I'll get a lightsaber to go with it. Then I just need a little Yoda-like mentor. If you want this costume or enjoy Star Wars I put some links at the bottom for you to click.
